Blanka's Story
Blanka's Story was a project with a steep learning curve for me.
Not only did I manage a core team of five and seven additional freelancers, but I also learned how to work on a project with clients. Making Gantt charts, scheduling meetings, managing feedback as well as deadlines from both clients and lecturers while being an active artist on the team made for a busy but exciting first experience as a producer.
Shepherd
Shepherd is an ongoing independent project, which I am currently managing/coordinating.
Most of my work consists of scheduling meetings, taking notes, assigning tasks, researching funding and pitching options and making sure that my team is happy and comfortable.
Coming up with ways to improve our workflow and how to provide feedback in a small team has been part of my job as well.
When thinking about how to minimise future hicups in the production, I created a form with questions for the team. This allowed me to better understand what each person's goals and expectations were, as well as how they work, if they need reminders, how much time they can invest in the project, etc.
